HOAP
HOAP is the acronym for Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Program, another quality service that Northwest Human Services provides to the community. It is the only full-service program for chronic mentally ill homeless adults in the Mid-Willamette Valley.

In addition to outreach and advocacy, HOAP offers
therapeutic and support services that includes:
- Medication Management
- Psychiatric Treatment
- Substance Abuse
- Skills Training
HOAP drop-in center in downtown Salem offers:
- Showers
- Laundry
- Lunch Program
- Crisis Intervention
- Social Outings and Holiday Activities
- Food, Clothing, and Shelter
I really appreciate the help,
warmth, and support I receive from HOAP staff
My goal is to
become completely self-sufficient and not have to rely on hospital
care and public services anymore
HOAP helps me to achieve this
goal.
Bob, a Northwest Human Services HOAP Program client
