Total Health Community Clinic

In order to meet the growing medical needs of the Polk County underserved population, Northwest Human Services opened the Total Health Community Clinic in Monmouth in 2002.  The main difference between THCC and its counterpart in West Salem, is that the former is a rural clinic serving the health care needs of mostly agricultural workers and their families. The commonality WSC and THCC share, is that they both are federally qualified health clinics providing comprehensive medical care to underserved individuals and families. THCC offers the following medical services:

  • Prenatal and Obstetrics Care
  • Pediatrics
  • Family Practice
  • Preventive Care
  • Immunizations
  • Dental Care

The Total Health Community Clinic accepts most insurances, including Oregon Health Plan and Medicare. The clinic also offers a sliding scale discount for those with limited income, and those who are uninsured or underinsured.

The Total Health Community Clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, except Thursday when the clinic is open until 8:00 pm.

“I was sick and because I didn't have health insurance, I couldn't visit a doctor. When a friend of mine told me that Total Health Community Clinic took care of people like me, I rushed to the clinic. It was the best I've ever done. They took care of my health needs and worked out a modest payment plan that I could afford. Without them, I would have no other way of getting the medical services are needed. Thank you very much.”
